Kiladangan GAA Club & Community BBQ Fun Day
Keep this coming Sunday September 3rd free in your diary for the Kiladangan GAA Club & Community BBQ & Fun Day.Activities will commence at 2.00 pm and will run until 5.00 pm. There will be lots of activities for kids young and old. We will be hosting a fittest family challenge, hurling and football skills challenges, face painting, hang tough and many more. Senior
Well done to the Senior hurlers who put in a great performance last Sunday afternoon in The Ragg to defeat Clonoulty Rossmore on a 0-25 to 0-17 scoreline in the third round of the county championship. Full teams, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com.
The lads finish top of the group (level on four points with Thurles Sarsfields but the lads come top due to head to head) and will progress straight to the Quarter Finals which take place on the weekend of 16/17th September.
Intermediate
The Intermediate hurlers lost out to Cappawhite 0-16 to 1-21 last Saturday in Templemore in the third round of the county championship. Full teams, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com. The lads finish bottom of the group on score difference and will now take part in the Relegation Semi Finals which take place on the weekend of 16/17th September where they will face neighbours Shannon Rovers.
Junior C
North Junior 'C' Hurling Championship will commence this coming weekend. There are seven teams taking part and are broken into two groups - one group of three and one group of four.
In Group 1, Kiladangan will make the short journey to Kilcolman this Sunday 3rd September at 6.00 pm to face Burgess whilst Ballina have a bye in Round 1.

Astro & Ball Wall Development
Great progress has been made so far on the astro and ball wall development at the club grounds in Puckane. Check out the clubs social media pages for a new video which shows the progress made so far. Thanks to Eoin Kelly for putting the video together.

Club Lotto
There was no winner of Monday 21st August lotto jackpot of €14,000.
Jackpot numbers were 14,18,20,26. No winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the number 9,19,24,34.

Under 13
Well done to the Under 13 hurlers who put in a great performance last Tuesday 22nd to defeat Moneygall 4-8 to 1-5 in the North 'B' Hurling Final. The Kiladangan scorers on the day were: James O'Dwyer 1-5 (2f), Tom Byrne 1-1 (1f), Mikey Ryan 1-0, Donagh Carmody 1-0 (free) and Stephen Byrne 0-2. Best of luck to the players and management who face Silvermines this coming Sunday 3rd September at 11.00 am in Templederry in the North Final.
Hard luck to the 'D' side who lost out to Nenagh Eire Og last Thursday 24th August on a 2-6 to 5-2 scoreline in Puckane in the North Hurling Plate Semi Final.
Under 15
Best of luck to the Under 15 hurlers who take on Toomevara in the North Quarter Final this Thursday 31st August at 6.30 pm in Roscrea.
Under 17
Best of luck to the Under 17 hurlers who take on Burgess in the North 'B' Semi Final on Monday 4th September at 6.30 pm in Shalee.
Under 19
Well done to the Under 19 hurlers who put in an impressive performance last Wednesday in Lorrha in the North 'B' Quarter Final where they got the better of Lorrha Rovers on a 2-23 to 2-15 scoreline. Noel Gleeson was the scorer of both goals with full teams, scorers and score trackeer available on KiladanganGAA.com. The lads will now take on Kilruane MacDonaghs this coming Wednesday 30th August at 6.45 pm (note earlier throw in time) in Cloughjordan in the North 'B' Semi Final. Entry to the game is either through tap and go or tickets which are available online at https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/north-tipperary-gaa/. Please come out to support the lads on the evening.

Intercounty Action
Congratulations to our representatives on the county underage Hurling panels. Rian McGrath & Ruairi Hackett were part of the Tipperary U14 panels that took part in the Tony Forristal & Sonny Walsh Tournaments. Oisin Ryan was part of the Tipperary U15 management that won the Arrabawn Cup whilst Evan Sherlock was on the Tipperary U16 panel.
Overseas
Congratulations to Kiladangan clubman Eoin O'Brien on securing the USGAA North American Hurling Championship last weekend with Tipperary San Francisco hurling club.
