Kiladangan GAA Club & Community BBQ Fun Day

The BBQ and Fun Day scheduled to take place last Sunday was postponed due to the Under 13 and 19 North Finals. It will now take place this coming Sunday 10th September. Activities will commence at 2.00 pm and will run until 5.00 pm. There will be lots of activities for kids young and old. We will be hosting a fittest family challenge, hurling and football skills challenges, face painting, hang tough and many more. Please spread the word.

Intermediate

The Intermediate hurlers will face Shannon Rovers in the relegation Semi Final on the weekend of 16/17th September. 

Junior C

Due to the Under 19 final taking place last Sunday, the Junior 'C' game against Burgess did not go ahead. It will now take place this coming Saturday at 5.30 pm in Kilcolman. Best of luck to all.

Astro & Ball Wall Development

Great progress has been made so far on the astro and ball wall development at the club grounds in Puckane. Check out the clubs social media pages for a new video which shows the progress made so far. Thanks to Eoin Kelly for putting the video together.  
We are asking for people to consider supporting this development. A donation of €500 paid over a period which best suits you and your families needs will ensure that this project is delivered for your community and your family and future generations.

Club Lotto
There was no winner of Monday 21st August lotto jackpot of €14,500.

Jackpot numbers were 12,16,20,33. No winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the number 10,21,27,34.

Under 13

Hard luck to the Under 13 hurlers who lost out to Silvermines 3-9 to 6-7 last Sunday morning in Templederry in the North 'B' Hurling Final. Well done to Silvermines on their victory. Well done to the Kiladangan boys who put in a great effort throughout the year. Scorers in the final were: Tom Byrne 2-0, James O'Dwyer 0-4 (1f), Josh O'Shea 1-1, Donagh Carmody 0-3 (2f), Jack Ryan 0-1.

Under 15

Hard luck to the Under 15 hurlers who lost out to Toomevara on a 1-22 to 5-12 scoreline in the North Quarter Final which took place last Thursday 31st August in Roscrea.

Under 17

Best of luck to the Under 17 hurlers who take on Burgess in the North 'B' Semi Final on Thursday 7th September at 6.15 pm in Templederry.

Under 19

Hard luck to the Under 19 hurlers who lost out to a strong Silvermines side last Sunday afternoon in Borrisoleigh in the North 'B' Hurling Final - Final Score Kiladangan 0-15 Silvermines 3-12. Full team, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com. Congratulations to Silvermines on their victory. Well done our panel of players who put in a trojan effort throughout the year and many thanks to the management team of Martin Minehan, Tom Fitzgerald, Brian McLoughlin, Michael Quinn and Eanna Gleeson and also to Jim Ryan (logistics) and Tina Coen (physio).
