County League

Kiladangan will face Drom Inch in their first round game in Group 1 of Division 1 of the County Hurling League. This game will take place on Friday 22nd March at 7.00 pm in Puckane.

North Junior 'A' Hurling League

The league will commence on the weekend of 5th-7th April. It will be consist of two groups - Group 1 contains Ballinahinch, Nenagh Eire Og, Kiladangan and Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst Group 2 contains Borris-Ileigh, Toomevara and Roscrea. The top two teams in each group will progress straight to the semi-finals. The top team will play the second placed team from the opposite group with the top team having home advantage in the semi-final
In Round 1 (scheduled for Sunday 7th April), Kiladangan will host Kilruane MacDonaghs at 5.00 pm in Puckane. Round 2 will take place on Sunday 21st where the lads will travel to MacDonagh Park Nenagh to face Nenagh Eire Og whilst Round 3 takes place on Sunday 5th May when Kiladangan host Ballinahinch.

North Junior 'B' Hurling League
The league will commence on Saturday 6th April. It will contain three groups with the top team in each group progressing to the knock out stages. The first top placed team drawn out will progress straight to the final whilst the remaining two teams will play each other in the semi-final. Kiladangan are in a group of five teams. On Saturday 6th April, Kiladangan will travel to face Moneygall in Round 1. Round 2 takes place on Saturday 20th April with Puckane hosting the clash against Nenagh Eire Og. On Monday 6th May, the Round 3 clash against Portroe will take place in Portroe. Saturday 18th May is the date for Round 4 when Kiladangan host Toomevara whilst the lads will have a bye in Round 5.

Schools Hurling

Hard luck to Nenagh CBS who lost out to St Raphael's College, Loughrea by a single point last Saturday in Tulla in the Croke Cup All-Ireland semi-final. The lads can be proud of the great year that they had - winning the Harty Cup for the first time in the schools history.

Scor na bPaisti

Best of luck to all the children that will represent Kiladangan in the Scór na bPaisti North Final which takes place in Newport Hall this coming Sunday 10th March.

The Kiladangan representatives on the day will be:

Recitations: Sarah Grey and Michael Cullinane
Instrumental music: Hannah Girard, Lilly Delaney, Stephen Byrne, Eoin Kelly and Liam Kelly.

Senior Scór
The Senior Scór 2024 County Final will take place on Friday March 15th in Moyne Community Centre. The quiz will get proceedings underway at 6.30pm with stage events beginning at 8pm. Please contact Mary Byrne (085 260 5946) or Maggie Grey (087 919 5993) if you're interested in taking part  - the competition is open to members of that club that are 17 years and older.

Under 13

The Under 13 footballers will commence the North 'B' Football Championship this coming Sunday 10th March at 3.00 pm against Burgess in Kilcolman.

Intercounty

Best of luck to the Tipperary Senior Hurlers take on Limerick this coming Saturday 9th March at 7.35 pm in Pairc Ui Chaoimh (please note change of venue) in the fourth round of the National Hurling League.

Interfirms

Hard luck to Ronan Ducie who was on the Unijobs team that lost out to Stryker by a single point last week in the All-Ireland Interfirms Senior Hurling Final.

The posters are also on sale in the shops in Ballycommon and Puckane. Many thanks to Eileen who has done an amazing job designing the posters. All money raised will go towards the players fund.

Club Lotto
There was no winner of the Monday 26th February Lotto jackpot of €6,000.

Jackpot numbers were 2,5,6,14. No winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the number 4,6,29,33.

Astro and Ballwall Development

Our Astro and Ballwall development is nearing the completion of phase 1 of the project which will see the wall completed and fencing erected. Over the coming weeks the committee will turn their efforts to planning for phase 2 of the project . Thanks to all who have contributed to our donation scheme, these contributions and commitment have allowed the project to get to this point.   As we plan for the final phase of the project over the coming months, we ask you and your family to consider contributing to our donation scheme. Gaeltacht Scholarships
These scholarships are confined to 2nd Year, 5th Year and TY Students in 2024 and previous recipients of Tipperary GAA Gaeltacht scholarships cannot apply in 2024. Only one scholarship per family is allowed. Applications can also be posted to Marcas Ó’Duinn, Moyneard, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary E41 HY77 to arrive no later than Friday April 12th. Application forms are available for download from the Tipperary GAA website.
