County League

The senior hurlers lost out to Borris Ileigh Tuesday evening week ago (10th) in the Semi Final of Division 1 of the County League on a 1-16 to 2-19 scoreline. Ciaran Kelly was the Kiladangan goal scorer in what was a very close and competitive game with Borris Ileigh leading at half time on a 1-12 to 1-9 scoreline. Kiladangan were well in contention in the second half and had Borris Ileighs lead back to one point with three minutes left in the game. However, Borris Ileigh scored 1-3 in injury time to book a place in the final. Full teams and scorers are available on the clubs website.  This result now ends Kiladangan’s senior campaign in the league for 2018. The Intermediate hurlers were due to take on  Clonoulty Rossmore last  Sunday in their final game of the group stages of the county league but due to a number of reasons, had to concede the game.
