Senior

It was a successful weekend for both our Senior sides.

On Saturday, our Senior ‘A’ side had an impressive 3-16 to 0-18 win over Toomevara in Semple Stadium in the County Championship Quarter Final. Dan O’Meara, Willie Connors and Joe Gallagher were the Kiladangan goal scorers. They will now face Drom Inch again, this time in the Semi Final, which will take place this coming Sunday 6th September at 5.30pm in Semple Stadium. It is hoped that this game will be streamed on the Tipperary GAA website whilst match updates will be available on the club’s Twitter page. Best of luck to the players and management.

Well done to the Senior ‘B’s who retained their Senior status for 2021 with Kiladangan defeating Ballingarry 4-3 on penalties after a titanic tussle. The sides finished level in normal time on a scoreline of 0-19 to 1-16 and couldn’t be separated after extra time with the sides finishing level 0-26 to 1-23. The game then went to a penalty shoot out with Darragh Egan saving Ballingarrys last two penalties and Darragh himself, scoring Kiladangan’s final penalty to secure the win. Well done to the lads on the win. Many thanks to the management team of Brian Kelly, Michael Quigley, Eoin Butler and Art Flannery for their work with the lads throughout the campaign. Hard luck to Ballingarry and the very best of luck in the Relegation Final.

Team line outs, scorers and score tracker of both games are available on the clubs website at kiladangangaa.com.

The Junior 'B's lost out to Lorrha Dorrha on a 1-11 to 4-13 scoreline last Friday evening in Lorrha. The lads were drawing with Lorrha going into the last quarter but the home side pulled away, scoring 2-6 to Kiladangan’s 0-1. Shane Butler was the Kiladangan goal scorer. Team line out, scorers and score tracker of the game is available on the clubs website at kiladangangaa.com.
