There was great excitement in both Carrig and Kiladangan National Schools and Scoláirí Óga Pre-school (Ballycommon) last Friday when a number of the Senior hurlers bought the Dan Breen Cup to the schools with the kids getting autographs from the players.
Euro Millions Draw
Kiladangan GAA Club, in partnership with North Tipperary Hospice, will be running a Euro Millions Draw. Please note that the commencement date for the draw has been extended to Wednesday 7th October so to allow extra time for tickets to be returned.
The proceeds of the draw will be split 50:50 between Kiladangan GAA & the Hospice. For just a once off €20 entry, you will be entered in the Euro Millions draw and Euro Millions plus draw for the year as part of the syndicate with 1,600 chances of winning.. The draw will be starting on September 24th. You can purchase a ticket online at kiladangangaa.com/products or by texting 083 861 7641 or contact any club officer or player. Tickets will also be available to purchase in Tonys Tipp Top Shop in Ballycommon or Kennedys shop in Puckane.
Kiladangan will participate in the Hogan Cup this year in place of the North Senior Hurling Championship. Kiladangan will play in a group of four with Roscrea, Ballina and Nenagh Eire Og with Lorrha, Portroe and Borris Ileigh making up the other group. They will take on Roscrea this coming Sunday at 12 noon in Moneygall in the first game.
Seamus Quigley & Mary Hogan carried out the Kiladangan Lotto draw on Monday 21st September which was broadcast live on Facebook. There was no winner of the €12,000 jackpot (4,6,17,20) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (6,12,26,29). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows:

The Under 12 footballers will take on Burgess this coming Saturday at 4.30 pm in Kilcolman in the North ‘B’ championship.
To Brian and Michelle Lawlor on the birth of their baby boy, Max Evan Lawlor, last week. It was an exciting few days for Brian and Michelle after Brian guided the Senior hurlers to the County title two days previously.
The club wish to express sympathy to Siobhan, Jim, Ellen, Sean and Thomas Ryan on the passing of Siobhan’s mother, Joan Flanagan (Newport). May she rest in peace.
