Hard luck to the Tipperary Senior hurlers and to the Kiladangan contingent of Alan Flynn (started number 4 scoring 0-2), Willie Connors (scored 0-1),Barry Hogan, Paul Flynn, James Quigley, Billy Seymour and Darragh Egan (selector) who were defeated by Galway last Saturday in the All Ireland Quarter Final.
