Presentation/Launch Night
Thanks to all that attended the presentation/launch night in McGraths last Saturday.
John Fitzpatrick and Deborah Ryan received their Tipp Draw winnings whilst Marian Minehan received her promoters prize. Congratulations to all.
We also launched the clubs golf classic whilst the camogie club launched their 'Raving Odd Balls' fundraiser.
Junior 'A' Football
Well done to the Junior 'A' Footballers who defeated Newport last Wednesday 15th May in Puckane in the North Quarter Final. The draw for the Semi Finals take place this week which will determine our opponent. The Semi Finals are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 29th May.
Junior 'A'
The Junior 'A' hurlers will take on Roscrea this coming Thursday 23rd May at 7.30 pm in Puckane in the League Semi Final - best of luck to all.
Junior 'B'
The Junior 'B' Hurlers had a 5-15 to 2-13 victory over Toomevara last Saturday in Puckane in the final group game of the league. Kiladangan started brightly and led 2-4 to 0-1 within the first ten minutes with Bill Cleary and James O'Meara scoring the Kiladangan goals. Toomevara came into the game thereafter and reduced the lead to six points by half time with Kiladangan leading 2-8 to 0-8. James O'Meara scored his second goal of the game on the 39th minute and this was followed up with a Paraic Kelly goal two minutes later to stretch the Kiladangan lead to 12 points. Toome responded well, scoring two goals of their own whilst Billy McGrath finished the goal scoring on the 56th minute with Kiladangan's fifth goal. The lads finish second in the group but unfortunately only one team progresses to the knock out stages. Therefore, the league campaign for the lads is now finished. Attention now turns to the championship when the lads will take on Toomevara in the first round on Saturday 29th June.
Camogie
Congratulations to Sinead Meagher who captained the Tipperary Camogie side to the Munster Intermediate title last Saturday with a final victory over Kerry - a fantastic achievement for Sinead.
Under 17
The Under 17 hurlers commenced the North-Mid Hurling League last Monday 13th May when they lost out to JK Brackens on a 1-12 to 2-19 scoreline with Rian McGrath the Kiladangan goal scorer. They travelled to Cloughjordan to take on Kilruane MacDonaghs on Tuesday 21st May with no result at time of going to print whilst they face Burgess this Thursday 23rd May at 7.30 pm in Kilcolman.
Under 11
The Under 11s travelled to Toomevara last Saturday morning to take part in the Michael Hogan Festival of Football - well done to all.
Intercounty
Hard luck to Barry Hogan, Willie Connors, Sean Hayes and Billy Seymour and the Tipperary Senior Hurling panel that were defeated by Cork last Sunday in the Munster Hurling Championship. They will face Clare this coming Sunday at 4.00 pm in Semple Stadium in the last round of the group stages.
Congratulations to Evan Sherlock who was a member of the Tipperary Minor Hurling panel who had a brilliant win over Clare last Monday evening to claim the Munster title.
Celtic Challenge
Well done to Diarmaid Fogarty (Tipp Blue Team) and Dara O'Dwyer (Tipp Gold Team) who were in action against each other last Saturdya in the Semi Final of the Celtic Challenge with the Blue team winning out.
Schools Hurling
Well done to Kiladangan NS who claimed the North Under 11 (5 teacher 7 a side) Cumann na mBunscol title last Tuesday 14th May after a great morning's hurling in Puckane.
They defeated Youghalarra in the final whilst they got the better of Kilruane and Birdhill in the group stages whilst Ballinahinch and Boher also competed.
Well done to all schools for a great morning of action.

Golf Classic
Keep Friday 21st June free in your diary as Nenagh Golf Club will host the annual Kiladangan GAA Golf classic. It is a 3 ball texas scramble event and we have some fantastic prizes on offer such as 3 balls for Trump Doonbeg, Carton House and Esker Hills.
There will be prizes for best overall team score, best ladies team score, best juvenile team score, nearest the pin, longest drive and hole in one competition.
Entry is €180 which includes a meal in the club house after (or €150 per team for golf only).

There was no winner of the Monday 13th May Lotto jackpot of €8,750.
