Junior 'A' Football
Best of luck to the Junior 'A' Footballers who face Roscrea this Wednesday 29th May at 7.30 pm in Roscrea in the North Semi Final.
Junior 'A'
Well done to the Junior 'A' Hurlers who had a 1-20 to 1-17 victory over Roscrea last Thursday evening in Puckane in the North League Semi Final. In what was a tit for tat game, Kiladangan held a slender 0-10 to 0-9 lead at half time. A well finished Eoin Meagher goal (after great set up work by John O'Meara) on the 48th minute was the key score of the game as it give Kiladangan a six point cushion. Roscrea did rally in the closing stages with Sam Conlon finishing well for a Roscrea goal into injury time. Kiladangan held out for the victory and will now face Toomevara in the League Final on Friday 31st May at 7.30 pm - please check Kiladangan social media for venue details.
Senior
The Senior Hurlers will face Borris-Ileigh in the North Quarter Final on Wednesday 19th June at 7.00 pm with venue yet to be determined.
Under 17
The Under 17 hurlers continued their North-Mid Hurling League campaign last week. On Tuesday 20th, they lost out to Kilruane MacDonaghs on a 0-9 to 2-12 scoreline but responded well two days later with a 2-18 to 0-14 victory over Burgess with Tom Boland and Noah Ducie scoring the Kiladangan goals.
Intercounty
Hard luck to Barry Hogan, Willie Connors, Sean Hayes and Billy Seymour and the Tipperary Senior Hurling panel that were defeated by Clare last Sunday in the Munster Hurling Championship. This now ends Tipperary's campaign for 2024. Fair play to the lads who gave it their all for Tipperary this year.
