Medal Presentation
Thanks to the large crowd that attended the Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Medal Presentation which took place last Friday in The Thatched Cottage. Medals were presented to our Minor camogie's, Senior Hurlers, Junior 'A' Hurlers and Junior 'A' Footballers. A big thanks to TJ Ryan who was an excellent special guest on the night and to The Thatched Cottage for being great hosts. Photo's of the night are available to view on the Kiladangan Social Media pages - thanks as always to Siobhan Ryan for taking the photos. Presentations were made on the night to our All Ireland winners from 2024 - Sinead Meagher, Aoife Gleeson and Evan Sherlock aswell as our outgoing treasurer Mary Hogan. Alan and Paul Flynn were also named as joint Club Players of the Year for 2024. Well done also to Bridget Kelly who won split the bucket on the night and thanks to Willie McGrath for arranging the running of same.
Intercounty
Congratulations to Willie Connors who was named the TG4 Man of the Match after Tipperary's impressive victory over Galway last Sunday in the first round of the National Hurling League. Willie scored three points from midfield, Barry Hogan was on the match day panel whilst Billy Seymour was on the extended panel. Best of luck to all as they face Wexford this coming Sunday at 3.45 pm in Semple Stadium in the second round.
North Awards
Congratulations to Gavin McGrath who has been named 2024 North Junior 'A' Hurler of the Year and to John O'Meara who has been named 2024 North Junior 'A' Footballer of the Year. They will receive their awards at the North Tipperary GAA Presentation night in mid February.

There was no winner of the Monday 20th January Lotto jackpot of €14,650
Jackpot numbers were 1,11,20,27. No winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the number 6,7,23,25.

Win a House
Tipperary GAA has launched its “Win a House” Draw. The grand prize is a fully furnished home in Cashel, valued at €350,000. Alternatively, the winner can choose a cash prize of €300,000. The next Bonus Draw takes place on 31st January. The lucky winner will receive 4 match tickets for the Tipperary and Cork Munster senior hurling clash in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on the last weekend in April in addition to a two-night stay with bed and breakfast plus one evening meal for 4 at the Maldron Hotel, Cork.
Tickets cost €100 and are available from Barry Connors 087 691 8664. For each ticket purchased through the club, €30 goes to the club.
Every Step Counts
The Every Step Counts Challenge is back with Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Clubs encouraging all in our community to take part.
The challenge aims to create a healthier Ireland by encouraging people to join together through the club and get out walking over five weeks.
The challenge is a country-wide initiative in partnership with Ireland Lights Up.
It will be hosted on Irish Life’s health and wellbeing app, MyLife, which allows users to record and track their efforts and steps. You can find the app at the following link: https://mylife.irishlife.ie/every-step-counts-2025/toolkit
The club will be running a weekly get together on our walking track in the GAA grounds in Puckane every Tuesday at 7.30 pm for the next number of weeks.
Camogie News
Congratulations to Sinead Meagher on being named in the centre-back position on the Tipperary Junior Club All-Star Team for 2024. This is a huge achievement for Sinead after showcasing the hard work, dedication and outstanding performance for her club in this years championship. It’s also a huge achievement for Kiladangan camogie club to have a player win this award. Well done, Sinead!
Hard luck to Isabelle Kingston and Siobhan Quinn (Selector) and the Tipperary Minor camogie team that lost out to Limerick in the Minor A Munster Semi Final last Sunday evening in Fethard.
