Over the last month or two, much has been made of the clubs name coming on the back of the publication of the clubs history which is titled 'Kiladangan GAA Club A Centenary History'. The clubs original name was indeed 'Kiladangan' but sometime over the years (last 20-30 years or so), the use of 'Kildangan' has come into use and has stuck. On the night of the publication launch, the books co-author Danny Grace highlighted this matter and felt that the club name should be reverted back to the original 'Kiladangan'. On foot of this, at an executive committee meeting which was held tonight, the motion of reverting back to 'Kiladangan' was passed. Therefore, in the coming days and weeks we will be putting this change into effect.
