As part of the clubs 20 year anniversary of claiming the All Ireland Intermediate Hurling title, we will have our victorious All Ireland winning panel from 2005 opening the astro and ball wall. It promises to be a great day and all are welcome to attend.
County Championship
The draws for the County Championships took place last Thursday evening. In the Senior Hurling, Kiladangan will face Toomevara, Holycross Ballycahill and Clonoulty Rossmore whilst the Premier Junior footballers will face Borrisokane, Fr Sheehys and JK Brackens.
Senior
The Senior hurlers had an exciting 4-14 to 1-23 draw away to Toomevara last Sunday afternoon in the second round of the County League. Kiladangan had three goals scored within the first fifteen minutes of the game through Dan O'Meara, Conor Culhane and Matthew Cleary to give the lads a nine point lead after the first quarter. However, Toome finished the half strong scoring 1-4 without reply to leave Kiladangan with a 3-6 to 1-11 half time lead. Toome took the lead early in the second half but a well worked Tadhg Gallagher goal put Kiladangan back in front on the 34th minute. The sides traded points throughout the remainder of the half and Kiladangan were three points up going into the closing stages but Toome finished well scoring three points to put the scores level.
