Junior 'A'
The Junior 'A' hurlers were due to take on Newport and Silvermines within the last week but received walkovers in both games. Kiladangan and Nenagh Eire Og finished joint top in the group with seven points each. With so many walkovers given in the group, score difference cannot be used. Therefore, Nenagh Eire Og and Kiladangan took part in a play off game which took place last Tuesday 27th in Toomevara with no result at time of going to print.
Junior 'B'
The Junior 'B' Hurlers drew with Burgess last Saturday evening in Puckane - 0-23 to 2-17 - with a Burgess goal in injury time securing a draw for the visitors. Full team, scorers and score tracker available to view on KiladanganGAA.com. The lads next game will take place this Friday 30th at 7.30 pm away to Templederry Kenyons.
Under 17
The Under 17 hurlers had an impressive 3-19 to 1-11 victory over Silvermines last Monday 19th May in Puckane in the County League. They will take on Roscrea this coming Monday 2nd June in the Division 2 Final. The game will take place in Toomevara and will throw in at 7.00 pm - best of luck to the panel and management.
Intercounty
The Tipperary Senior Hurlers finished third in the Munster Championship group with their next game taking place on the weekend of 14/15th June when they face either Kildare or Laois in the Preliminary Quarter Finals. Best of luck to Tom O'Meara who is a member of the New York hurling side that face Cavan this coming Saturday 31st May in the Lory Meagher Cup Final. The game will throw in at 3.00 pm in Croke Park and will be live on TG4 YouTube.
Well done to Tom Boland who was part of the Tipperary panel that defeated Kilkenny last Saturday in Templemore in the Celtic Challenge Semi Final.
Cumann na mBunscol
Well done to the Kiladangan NS Under 11 hurling panel who have progressed to the Cumann na mBunscol Roinn D County Final after a Semi Final victory over Cappawhite last Wednesday.
Kiladangan GAA Golf Classic
Keep Friday 20th June free in your diary as Nenagh Golf Club will host the annual Kiladangan GAA Golf classic. It is a 3 ball champagne scramble event and we have some fantastic prizes on offer such as 3 balls for Trump Doonbeg, Carton House and Powerscourt.
There will be prizes for best overall team score, best ladies team score, best juvenile team score, nearest the pin, longest drive and hole in one competition.
It will also be the first year where the winning team will be awarded the Paddy Kelly Perpetual Cup - named in honour of our former life president.
Entry is €180 which includes a meal in the club house after (or €150 per team for golf only).
