Junior 'A'
Best of luck to the Junior 'A' Hurlers who face Borris-Ileigh this coming Monday 23rd June at 7.30 pm in Puckane (please note change in fixture) in the first round of the North Championship.

Junior 'B'
The Junior 'B' hurlers have been drawn to take on Moneygall, Portroe, Burgess and Borrisokane in the group stages of the North Championship with the top two teams in the group progressing to the Quarter Finals. The lads will face Moneygall in Moneygall in the first round on Saturday 5th July.
Round 2 - Saturday 12th July v Portroe in Puckane
Round 3 - Saturday 19th July v Borrisokane in Borrisokane
Round 4 - Saturday 2nd August v Burgess in Puckane
County Championship
The Senior Hurlers have been drawn to face Clonoulty Rossmore and the Premier Junior Footballers have been drawn to face Fr Sheehys in first round of the County Championships
Under 13
The Under 13 hurlers started their championship campaign last Tuesday 10th June in Puckane. The 'B's shared the spoils with Ballina - 1-8 each whilst the 'D's lost out on a 2-3 to 3-6 scoreline to Ballina. The 'D's took on Kilruane MacDonaghs last Monday 16th and the 'B's took on Burgess on Tuesday 17th with no result at time of going to print for either game.
Intercounty
Well done to Willie Connors (who was named man of the match after scoring five points from midfield), Barry Hogan and Billy Seymour and the Tipperary Senior Hurlers who defeated Laois last Saturday in Portlaoise in the All Ireland Preliminary Quarter Final. Best of luck to the panel as they face Galway this coming weekend in the All Ireland Quarter Final.
Schools Hurling
Last week was a busy one for the schools in the parish with three Cumann na mBunscol County Final's taking place Semple Stadium.
On Tuesday 10th, the Carrig NS Under 13 Camogie side won the Roinn B county title after defeating Cloughjordan in Semple Stadium on a 2-9 to 1-3 scoreline. That afternoon, the Carrig NS Under 11 hurling side lost out to out to Ardfinnan after a titanic tussle in the Roinn B Final - 0-12 to 1-11 whilst the next day, the Kiladangan NS Under 11 hurling side lost out to a strong Two Mile Borris side in the Roinn D Final.
It's a magnificent achievement to have three sides from the two schools in the parish reaching the County Final stage in Semple Stadium - well done to all along with the teachers and coachers who are putting in great work in the schools.

Kiladangan GAA Golf Classic
Keep this coming Friday 20th June free in your diary as Nenagh Golf Club will host the annual Kiladangan GAA Golf classic. It is a 3 ball champagne scramble event and we have some fantastic prizes on offer such as 3 balls for Trump Doonbeg, Carton House and Powerscourt.
There will be prizes for best overall team score, best ladies team score, best juvenile team score, nearest the pin, longest drive and hole in one competition.
It will also be the first year where the winning team will be awarded the Paddy Kelly Perpetual Cup - named in honour of our former life president.
Entry is €180 which includes a meal in the club house after (or €150 per team for golf only).

Camogie
Well done to Aoife Gleeson and the Tipperary Under 23s that had a great win over Kilkenny in their last group game. The girls now progress to an All
Ireland Semi Final. Details will be posted in social media.
Well done to our Under 14 camogie team and trainers that has a great win over Ballybacon Grange in their Semi Final last Tuesday 10th June. The girls take to the County Final on Wednesday 18th June in the County Camogie Grounds in The Ragg. Come out and support the girls on this historic day for our club, as we compete in a B division for the very first time!
