The North Board held their annual awards night in the Kiladangan GAA Complex last Friday, 20th February, celebrating the outstanding achievements of clubs and players across the division. Kiladangan GAA were proudly presented with the Club of the Year award by North Board Chairman Brendan Shanahan and Vice President Len Gaynor. Johnny Horan received the North Tipperary Junior A hurler of the Year Award. Willie Connors received the North Tipperary Senior Hurler and Overall Hurler of the Year Award. A special highlight of the evening was the announcement of the inaugural Hall of Fame Award to Fr. Seamus Gardiner recognising his immense contribution to the association. Sincere thanks to Gary Toohey for serving as MC on the night and to the North Board officials for organising such an enjoyable event. Congratulations to all the award recipients on a well-deserved recognition of their achievements.

Senior
The County Hurling League draw took place last week. We have been drawn in Group 1 of Division 1 with Borris-Ileigh, Nenagh Éire Óg, Clonoulty-Rossmore, Drom & Inch, JK Brackens. Round 1 is away against JK Brackens on the weekend of March 15th.

Lotto
There was no winner of the Monday 16th February Lotto jackpot of €20,400. Jackpot numbers were 13,20,26,33. There was no winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the numbers 1,11,12,20.

Hard luck to Olivia Hogan and the Ursuline school that lost the All Ireland Senior A final to Loreto Kilkenny. Focus now turns to their Junior A as they prepare to face Loreto Kilkenny this Friday. Best of luck to all involved.

Congratulations to Mikey Ryan, Tom Byrne, Tadhg O’Brien, Darragh Molloy and Michael Cullinane who were members of the North Tipperary U15 Football Panel who beat West Tipperary in the Shield Final on Saturday.

The Scór na bPáistí Parish Final will take place next Saturday 28th February at 7pm sharp. Attendees can look forward to an enjoyable evening, which will include a raffle and refreshments. Entry is €5 (cash only). Please note that the quiz section will be conducted separately at the Kiladanagan GAA complex on Sunday March 1st at 6:00pm.
