Sympathy
Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Club extends its deepest sympathies to the family of our Life President, Jimmy Slattery.
Jimmy was a proud Kiladangan man who wore the club colours with distinction during the 1950's. His dedication to the club continued long after his playing days, serving as club secretary on two separate occasions, from 1954 to 1957 and again in 1965. In these roles, he gave generously of his time and effort, helping to strengthen the club during important years in its history.
A lifelong supporter, Jimmy remained a steadfast and loyal follower of Kiladangan, travelling far and wide to support the club. He was the go-to expert for the grass seed used in developing the main pitch in Puckane. Jimmy also supported the club in all aspects, and this valued contribution continues today through the ongoing sponsorship of Kiladangan GAA & Camogie by the Slattery family business, Agritech Company.
Jimmy’s contribution to Kiladangan GAA is immeasurable, and his legacy will live on in our club.
We extend our sincere condolences to all his family and friends at this very sad time.
