Our highly anticipated annual Golf classic will take place on Friday 19th June in Nenagh Golf Club. It is a 3-ball champagne scramble event, and we have some fantastic prizes on offer such as 3 balls for Trump Doonbeg, Carton House and Powerscourt. There will be prizes for best overall team score, best ladies team score, best juvenile (u18) team score, nearest the pin, longest drive and hole in one competition. The Paddy Kelly Perpetual Cup will be awarded to the winning team of the year. Congratulations to our Junior A Camogie team that claimed the Junior A League title on Friday evening with a win over Gortnahoe-Glengoole. A fantastic display of teamwork, determination, and spirit. Theresa Collins and Sinead Meagher were the joint captains. Well done to all players and management.

Hard luck to our Junior C Camogie team who were defeated by Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams on Sunday morning after a hard-fought contest. It was a huge achievement for the club’s second adult team to reach a league final, and even more special to have both adult teams competing in league finals this weekend.

Huge congratulations to all players and management on a fantastic and successful weekend for the club.

A huge comhghairdeas goes to Kiladangan N.S. who for the first time in over a decade reclaimed the U13 schools hurling title after a thrilling contest with Kilruane N.S. last week. Míle Buíochas do Mr. Flynn, Mr. Gallagher agus Ms. Bourke for all the hard work and after school training sessions they do with all our hurling and camogie teams.

Well done to Carrig N.S. who had a great win over Ballina N.S. in round three of the competition last week.

Congratulations to Sarah Grey who lined out with the Tipperary Primary Girls Cumann na mBunscol team on Sunday in Gaelic Grounds. A fantastic achievement to represent her county at such a level. Well done Sarah!

Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Club were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Liz Howard. Liz was a lifelong servant whose contribution to camogie and Gaelic games was immense. From her playing days on the field to serving as President of the Camogie Association, she held many distinguished roles throughout her career and gave outstanding service to the games she loved. We offer our sympathies to her family, friends, and the wider Camogie & GAA Associations. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
