Senior Hurling

Best of luck to our Senior Hurling team who take on Moycarkey-Borris in the quarter-final of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship this Saturday, September 12th, at 2.00pm in Semple Stadium, Thurles. We wish all the players and management the very best of luck in this contest. We hope to see as much Kiladangan support as possible in Semple Stadium on Saturday to get behind the lads and cheer them on!

Camogie

Hard luck to our Junior A camogie team who lost to Gortnahoe last Saturday evening. Full time score, Kiladangan 0-8 Gortnahoe Glengoole 2-10.

Juvenile

Hard luck to our U16 hurling team, who lost out to Moneygall in the North U16 B Hurling Final in Templederry on Saturday evening. Kiladangan got off to a good start, but Moneygall grew into the game and enjoyed the better of the remainder of the first half, going in at the break with a one-point lead, 0-7 to 0-6. Our lads came out strongly again in the second half and took control for much of the half, eventually opening up a four-point lead with just four minutes remaining. Unfortunately, Moneygall finished strongly, scoring a goal and two points in the closing stages to snatch a one-point victory. Hard luck to the players and management, but very well done on reaching the final and on all the hard work and effort put in throughout the year.

Congratulations to our U12 C team, who produced a brilliant performance to win the Shield Final against Ballina yesterday. With a big panel of players, it was great to see everyone getting game time and making their contribution. The team played some excellent hurling throughout, putting together a very strong performance. A huge well done to all the players, and to our U12 managers and mentors for all their work with the team throughout the year. Thanks also to all the parents for their continued support. 

Family Fun Day

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Family Fun Day such a brilliant success!

To all our mentors, volunteers, parents and helpers, thank you for giving so generously of your time and energy throughout the day. From those who organised the races and games, to everyone who helped with the food, courses and all the other activities, your help and support was hugely appreciated. A special thank you to all the kids who got involved and took part with such enthusiasm. We would also like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the Dillon Quirke Foundation on the day. Your generosity and support was greatly appreciated. We hope everyone enjoyed the day!
