Well done to th Senior hurlers who earned a hard fought 1-22 to 1-18 win over Portroe last Saturday evening in the second group game of the County Hurling Championship. Dan O'Meara was the Kiladangan goal scorer with full team and scorers available on the clubs website.
Intermediate Hurling
Hard luck to the Intermediare hurlers who were very unlucky to lose out to Kilsheelan Kilcash last Sunday on a 2-14 to 0-21 scoreline in the County Hurling Championship. Gearoid and Tommy Connors were the Kiladangan goal scorers with full team and scorers available on the clubs website. This result now means that the lads will need to win their last group game against Ballybacon Grange to have any chance of avoiding a relegation play off.

Under 12
Our U12s lost out to Burgess by the narrowest of margins in the North B hurling final last Saturday in Toomevara. It was a fantastic, competitive game of hurling with no more than a puck of a ball between the two teams right up to the final whistle. The final score was 0-4 to 0-3. It was a heartbreaking result for the lads but they can be more than pleased with the effort they put in and the spirit in which they played the game, not just in the final, but throughout the championship. The team, and scorers, on the day was: Oisin Sheahan, Conn Egan, Kevin Lawless, Kieran Gleeson, Darra O’Dwyer, Diarmuid Moloney, Richard Cullinan, Gavin McGrath, Chullain McGrath, Diarmaid Fogarty, Evan Sherlock, John Meagher, Ben Kirwan, Cathal Hayes and Cathal Gavin.
Scorers: Evan Sherlock 0-2 (f) and Diarmaid Fogarty 0-1.
Many thanks to the team mentors - Paddy Gallagher, Anthony Sherlock, Darren McGrath, Oisin Ryan, Paul Fogarty and Jimmy O’Dwyer - for the work done with this group of players. Best of luck to Burgess in the Co. semi final.
Focus now turns to the upcoming U11 and U13 championships which will be getting underway very soon.
