County League

The Intermediate hurlers lost out to an impressive Moyne Templetouhy side on a 1-10 to 0-23 scoreline last Sunday in Templetouhy in Division 3 of the County League. Stephen James Gleeson was the Kiladangan scorer from the penalty spot. Teams and scorers are available on the club’s website. Round 3 of the league will take place in late April.

Junior ‘B’ Hurling

The Junior ‘B’ hurlers opened up their league campaign with an impressive 5-22 to 0-11 win over Moneygall last Saturday evening in Puckane. Paddy Coen (x2), Paraic Kelly (x2) and Eoin Meagher were the Kiladangan goal scorers on the day. Full team and scorers are available on the Kiladangan website. They will take on Burgess in Kilcolman in the next round on Saturday 20th April.

Minor Football

The minor footballers had a 3-4 to 0-7 win over Inane Rovers in the ‘A’ Football Championship last Sunday morning in Roscrea. Conor Sheahan, Paul Seymour and Matthew O’Gorman were the Kiladangan goal scorers. Full team and scorers are available on the Kiladangan website. They will take on Kilruane this Wednesday (27th) at 6.30 pm in Puckane.

U12 Football

The U12’s will commence the North ‘B’ Football Championship this coming Saturday 30th April at 3pm in Puckane against Toomevara.

Schools Hurling

Well done to Borrisokane CC and the Kiladangan contingent of Conor Culhane, Matthew Cleary, Eoin McGrath, Aidan Ryan, Robert Clarke, Oisin Webb, Neil Cahalan and Darragh Ryan who won the All Ireland ‘C’ Schools Hurling Final last Saturday defeating Colaiste na Coiribhe on a 1-22 to 1-12 scoreline. It’s great to see eight All Ireland medals coming back to the parish.

Membership

Club membership for 2019 is now due and you can pay online at kiladangangaa.clubifyapp.com/membership_products. There are different pricing options for playing members (€80) , non playing members (€30), students (€40), a combination of Tipp Draw, Kiladangan Lotto and non playing membership for the year (€200) and a combination of Kiladangan lotto and non playing membership for the year (€110). Membership can also be paid to club registrar Fergal Hayes who can be contacted at (086) 150 6266.

Juvenile Registration

Registration is now due for all the players and can be paid to any of the juvenile club officers.

Lotto

There was no winner of Monday 18th March lotto jackpot of €4,800 with the numbers drawn 1,2,15,32.
