County Hurling Championship

The Senior and Intermediate hurlers are due to commence their County Championship campaign this coming weekend. On Saturday, the Seniors will take on Drom Inch in Templederry at 6pm whilst on Sunday, the Intermediate’s will take on Lattin Cullen Gaels at 4.30 pm in Newport. We urge all supporters to show their support for both teams this weekend.

North Senior Hurling Championship

The senior’s first round North fixture against Toomevara has been confirmed to take place on Friday 12th April at 6.30pm in Cloughjordan.

Minor Football

The minor footballers took on Kilruane last Wednesday in Puckane in what was a goal fest with Kiladangan winning out on a 5-9 to 4-4 scoreline after a great game of football. Sean Hayes (x3), Shane Gleeson and Matthew O’Gorman were the Kiladangan goalscorers will full team and scorers available on the club website. The lads are due to take on Ballina in the North Final. No fixture details for the final have yet been confirmed.

North Minor Hurling League

The North board are running a North Minor Hurling league in preparation ahead of the North Championship. This will commence this coming Wednesday (3rd April) where the lads will take on Toomevara in Puckane at 6.30 pm.

Underage Training

Our U10s are back training on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. The U6s and U8s will be back in action in the next couple of weeks - details on training will be sent out by text.

Under 12

The U12s got their North Football Championship underway in Puckane on Saturday losing out to a strong Toomevara outfit on a scoreline of 7-4 to 2-4. Our goal scorers were Diarmaid Fogarty and Noah Ducie. They played again on Tuesday evening against Newport in Newport with no result at time of going to press. And they will round off a busy week with an away game to Silvermines in Dolla at 3.00pm this Saturday.

U12 Croke Park Blitz

Our U12 team has been invited to participate in an inter-county All Ireland Gaelic Football Blitz Day in Croke Park on Friday 19th April (Good Friday). This is a brilliant and rare opportunity for our young players to get to play in Croke Park.

Under 14

The U14s first game is away to Newport on the 13th of April at 4.00pm.

Under 16

The U16s played Portroe away in the first round of the North Football championship on Monday with no result at time of going to press. They are out again next Monday playing Inane Rovers at 7.00pm in Puckane.

Easter Camp

This year’s Kiladangan GAA Easter camp for 5-14 year old boys and girls will run on Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th April from 10.00am to 1.00pm each day. Cost is €5 per day. Please bring hurley, helmet, packed lunch, gum-shield and appropriate rain gear. Any queries please contact Darragh Egan.

Please note that Juvenile Club membership is now due and can be paid to any club officer.

Membership

Club membership for 2019 is now due and you can pay online at kiladangangaa.clubifyapp.com/membership_products. There are different pricing options for playing members (€80) , non playing members (€30), students (€40), a combination of Tipp Draw, Kiladangan Lotto and non playing membership for the year (€200) and a combination of Kiladangan lotto and non playing membership for the year (€110). Membership can also be paid to club registrar Fergal Hayes who can be contacted at (086) 150 6266.
