Junior ‘B’

The Junior’s lost out to Lorrha last Saturday evening in Borrisokane on a 1-16 to 1-19 scoreline in the North Quarter Final. In what was a sluggish first half performance, the lads went into the half time break with an 8 point deficit, 0-7 to 1-12. With an improved second half performance, the lads clawed their way back into the game but were unable to break the Lorrha rear-guard late on when a goal was much needed. The lads can be proud of their campaign with a big achievement having the club’s third team making it to the knock out stages of the championship. Minor

The Minors had a hard earned draw against Toomevara last Thursday evening in Nenagh where the sides ended 0-13 each in what was a close fought contest throughout. Full team and scorers are available on the club website. They will take on Nenagh Eire Og in the next round on Wednesday 7th August.

Lotto

There was no winner of Monday 22nd July lotto jackpot of €6,600 with the numbers drawn 2,8,11,18.

There was no winner of the '€500 Second Chance' draw with the numbers drawn 12,15,16,34.

Inter County Action

It was a busy week for Tipperary Intercounty hurling with the U20’s and Seniors in action. On Tuesday 23rd last, the U20’s showed great courage in claiming a one point win over Cork in the Munster Final with Billy Seymour scoring a point from full forward. Unfortunately injury ruled Sean Hayes out of the game. They will take on Wexford in the All Ireland Semi Final this coming Sunday 4th August at 1.45pm in Nowlan Park Kilkenny.

On Sunday last, the Seniors had a 2 point victory of Wexford in the All Ireland Semi Final with Willie Connors (who scored a very important point late on) and Alan Flynn making substitute appearances in the game whilst David Sweeney and Barry Hogan were on the extended panel with Darragh Egan as coach.

The club is taking orders for tickets for the All Ireland final against Kilkenny. Seeing as demand will be high, priority will be given to club members. The Tipperary senior hurling panel are inviting supporters of the blue and gold to an open training session on Wednesday, July 31st at Semple Stadium, Thurles (7-9pm) – a meet and greet session will take place from 8.15pm

Under 12

Both U12 teams play their North Semi Final's this week . The Roinn D team play Kilruane this Monday (29th) at 7pm in Puckane and the Roinn B team take on Roscrea this Tuesday 30th at 7.30 pm in Roscrea.

Under 14

Our U14s recorded an excellent win over Lorrha in their north quarter final on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-6. The goal scorers were Richard Cullinan and Jos Slattery. They now play Silvermines , Thursday, evening at 7.00pm in Dolla in a north semi final.

Under 16

The U16s lost out to Ballina away on Saturday evening. They take on Toomevara this Monday (29th July) at 7.00 pm in Toomevara. They’re out again next Monday evening at 7.00pm against Roscrea.

Kiladangan GAA Club Summer Camp

This year’s Kiladangan GAA Club Summer Camp will run from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th August in Puckane from 10.00am to 2.00pm each day. Registration will take place on the first morning from 9.30am.
