Club Presentation

A great night was had last Saturday In the The Thatched Cottage Ballycommon where the club held its presentation night for our North Senior Champions, North and County U21 ‘A’ Champions and North Minor ‘A’. Many thanks to Gary Sice (current Corofin and former Galway footballer) who spoke very well on the night as the special guest where he had a Q&A session with Darragh Egan which proved very insightful for all those in attendance. Medals were presented to 66 players in total which special presentations to all those that played inter county in 2019 and to the management and members of the back room teams. Presentations were made to outgoing officers Karen Seymour and Siobhan McLoughney. Well done to Paul Flynn who was named 2019 Kiladangan Club Player of the Year and he collected his award on the night. Many thanks to all those that attended and to The Thatched Cottage who were fabulous hosts on the night – also thanks to Oisin Ryan who was DJ on the night. League and Championship Start Dates

The following are the commencement dates for a number of league and championships:

County Hurling League – weekend of 8th March.

Minor Football – due to commence this coming weekend . Ballina and Inane Rovers are due out in the first round with Kiladangan due to play the losing team the week after.

North Junior ‘B’ Hurling League – weekend of 1st March.

North Under 12 Football – Saturday 15th February

North Under 14 Football – Saturday 29ty February

North Under 16 Football – Saturday 7th March

Once the clocks change on March 29th, all juvenile games will be played on the following nights - Monday Under 16, Tuesday Under 12, Thursday Under 14.

Child Protection Course

Child Protection Course will be held in Ballycommon Muintir Na Tire Hall on Friday 14th February. Course starts at 6.30pm till 9.30pm and registration at 6.15pm.

Open to anyone that need course be it coaches or committee members. Cost for course €12-€15 pending numbers

Fitzgibbon Cup

Well done to Fergal Hayes who was corner back on the IT Carlow side that defeated Mary Immaculate College last Saturday in the Fitzgibbon Cup Semi Final. They will now take on UCC in the final which will take place this Wednesday 12th at 7.30 pm in the Dublin City University Sportsgrounds. Best of luck to Fergal and the IT Carlow side.

Friends of Nenagh Hospital Fundraiser

Kiladangan GAA club are delighted to host a fundraiser for Friends of Nenagh Hospital Fundraiser on Saturday 29th February at 8pm in the club’s new complex in Puckane. On the night, the ‘In Tune for Life Orchestra’ led by Ned Kelly well perform and will be joined by performances from Kiladangan and Carrig National School. Tickets are pried at €20 and are available from any club officer as well as Tony’s Tipp Top Shop Ballycommon, Kenndy’s Shop Puckane and Eason’s Nenagh.

Underage Divisional Hurling

Well done to both Gavin McGrath and Richard Cullinane who were named as part of the North Tipperary Under 14 Hurling panel that took on South Tipperary at the weekend.

Lotto

There was no winner of Monday 3rd February jackpot of €9,400. Numbers drawn were 2,9,10,28. There was no winner of the €500 Second Chance draw with numbers 5,8,19,34.

TIPPERARY GAA CLUB ALL COUNTY MATCH PASS 2020

The match pass for 2020 is currently on sale at the price of €120. This pass gives you access to all adult matches within the County during 2020. Passes can be ordered through the GAA Office Slievenamon Rd., Thurles or by contacting 0504 22702 where you can pay over the phone

Membership

Registration for adult club membership is now live on the club website for 2020 with the rates as follows: Playing Membership - €80, Student Membership - €40, Non Playing Membership - €30, Tipp Draw, Lotto & Non Playing Membership - €200, Lotto & Non Playing Membership - €110. Membership can be paid online at: kiladangangaa.clubifyapp.com/membership_products If you wish to pay in person then please contact club registrar Fergal Hayes on 086 150 6266. Regarding Juvenile membership, a registration night will be held on Wednesday 12th February from 7 to 8pm at the club house in Puckane. The fee for the coming year remains unchanged at €35 for the first and second child in a family and €30 for subsequent children. You will also have the opportunity to order some club gear at reduced prices on the night.
