Kiladangan Super Bowl Squares

Kiladangan are running a Super Bowl square to kick start the new year in the club. There are 100 squares up for grabs and first prize is €1,000. Each square cost’s €50.

For those unfamiliar with NFL squares it involves 100 boxes (1 name per box) placed in a square with the numbers drawn to each grid and the winner is determined by the 2nd digit from the full time score. So for example, Home Team 13 Away team 17 - the person in the corresponding box where 3&7 meet is the winner. There will also be prize money for half time score and the score at the end of both quarters. Essentially, it’s a bit of fun and makes the game entertaining to watch with the luck of the draw determining the winner.

Irish Independent Sports Star Awards

Bryan McLoughney's county final winning goal is nominated as one of the Magic Moments of the Year whilst Bryan himself is up for nomination as Sportstar of the Year after winning the weekly title in September. Entry form is available in the sports section of the Irish Independent. Get voting!

Every Step Counts Challenge

Irish Life with the GAA have launched “Every Step Counts”, where clubs walk/run a collective 4,000km (that's roughly the distance around Ireland!) between now and 3rd March, clubs that reach this target will be entered into a prize draw in each province there are 3x O'Neills vouchers up for grabs - €2,500, €1,500 & €1,000. With lots of us in the parish covering miles on the road and the walking track we have registered the club for this event, anyone can register for this so appreciate if you can support and forward word to people that you think may be interested in taking part.

Kiladangan GAA Schools Coaching Scholarship

Kiladangan GAA club are currently accepting applications for a Schools Coaching Scholarship where the successful candidate/s will take a proactive approach in the coaching of Gaelic Games in Carrig National School and Kiladangan National School. Applications are limited to members of Kiladangan GAA Club. Please forward your CV to kiladanganns@gmail.com before the end of January. Interviews will be held thereafter. Framed Team Photo’s

County Final DVD/USB

The club have a limited number of DVD/USB combo’s available to purchase. This package will include full footage of the County Senior Hurling final aswell as the Kiladangan games leading up to it along with clips of interviews, pre final build up etc. They are available to purchase in Tony’s in Ballycommon and Kennedy’s in Puckane and are priced at €35.

Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 18th January which was broadcast live on Facebook. There was no winner of the €13,700 jackpot (10,18,33,36) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (6,7,22,35). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows:

Margaret Hayes (Monsea), Breda Clarke (Monsea), Jimmy O’Grady (Urra), Aoife Peters (Beechwood).

Many thanks to the large number of people that have signed up. We would urge people to sign up for the lotto online at kiladangangaa,com/products. There are currently a number of options available online on how long you can sign up for. You can also enter the lotto in the shops and restaurants in the parish. The lotto will be streamed live on the Kiladangan Facebook page every Monday at 9pm.

Tipperary Supporters Club Membership
