Adjourned AGM

The Kiladangan Adjourned AGM scheduled for last Friday 12th February was postponed as a mark of respect on the passing of Sean Fay. The rescheduled date will be announced within the coming days.

Kiladangan Membership

Registration for adult club membership is now live on the club website with the rates as follows:

Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 9th February which was broadcast live on Facebook. There was no winner of the €14,000 jackpot (1,14,30,31) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (17,22,23,33). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows:

Many thanks to the large number of people that have signed up. We would urge people to sign up for the lotto online at kiladangangaa,com/products. There are currently a number of options available online on how long you can sign up for. You can also enter the lotto in the shops and restaurants in the parish. The lotto will be streamed live on the Kiladangan Facebook page every Monday at 9pm.

Framed Team Photo’s

There are a number of framed team photo’s available to purchase of the Kiladangan County Senior title winning panel. More details available on the Kiladangan Social Media pages. For further details and to order, please contact on Eoin Kelly on 087 920 1249.

County Final DVD/USB

The club have a limited number of DVD/USB combo’s available to purchase. This package will include full footage of the County Senior Hurling final aswell as the Kiladangan games leading up to it along with clips of interviews, pre final build up etc. They are available to purchase in Tony’s in Ballycommon and Kennedy’s in Puckane and are priced at €35.

Every Step Counts Challenge

Irish Life with the GAA have launched “Every Step Counts”, where clubs walk/run a collective 4,000km (that's roughly the distance around Ireland!) between now and 3rd March, clubs that reach this target will be entered into a prize draw in each province there are 3x O'Neills vouchers up for grabs - €2,500, €1,500 & €1,000. With lots of us in the parish covering miles on the road and the walking track we have registered the club for this event, anyone can register for this so appreciate if you can support and forward word to people that you think may be interested in taking part.

Tipperary Supporters Club Membership

Tipperary Supporter's club membership is available from Catherine Gleeson (0879177233) and costs just €40 to join up with all proceeds going to the Tipperary county hurling teams. Sympathy

Kiladangan GAA wish to sympathise with the friends and family of Sean Fay who passed away recently. Sean was an extremely proud and passionate Kiladangan man, and was an ever present face in the GAA field in Puckane whenever he ventured home from New York where he spent many years working. In New York, Sean was always a friendly and welcoming tour guide for the few trips that our club members and friends made throughout the last two decades.

He had a keen interest in photography and took hundreds, if not thousands, of Kiladangan GAA photo’s throughout the years. He was  ahead of his time when he put together the first Kiladangan GAA website in the early 2000’s (puckane.tripod.com/)

A great community man - Sean will be a big loss to the village of Puckane and to the parish of Kiladangan.
