County League

Hard luck to the Senior hurlers who lost out to Clonoulty Rossmore last Saturday evening on a 2-13 to 2-25 scoreline in the first round of the County League. Billy Seymour was the scorer of both Kiladangan goals. Teams, scorers and score tracker is available on the club’s website at KiladanganGAA.com. North Junior ‘B’ League

Kiladangan will commence the North Junior ‘B’ League this coming Saturday 19th June away to Moneygall at 7pm. They will also take on Borrisokane and Knockshegowna in the group stages.

Under 19

The Under 19 hurlers have been drawn in a group with Toomevara and Ballina. The championship will start on Wednesday 30th June where the lads will be away to Toomevara with a 7pm throw in.

Under 17

The Under 17 footballers had a 7-5 to 2-6 win over Upperchurch Drombane last Monday 14th in Puckane. They will be out in action again on Monday 28th away to Burgress

Under 15

Well done to the Under 15s who commenced their football championship last Thursday evening where they defeated Ballinahinch Templederry in Puckane.

Under 13

Both Under 13 sides were in action in Cloughjordan on Tuesday 8th, both taking on Kilruane MacDonaghs. The 'B' side lost out 1-1 to 3-4 whilst the 'D' side won 4-5 to 3-2. The ‘B’ side also took on Portroe on Tuesday 15th June where they won on a 3-4 to 1-2 scoreline.

Under 11

Well done to both Under 11 sides who started their campaigns with wins over Newport (in the ‘D’ championship) and Moneygall (in the ‘B’ championship). Well done to all. They will be out in action again this coming Saturday against Borrisokane (in ‘B’ championship) and Ballina (in ‘D’ championship).

There has been a new membership category added to the club website. For €300, you will be purchasing non playing membership, membership to the Tipperary Draw as well as a year’s entry to the lotto which includes 3 entries per week.

Intercounty

Hard luck to the Tipperary hurlers who lost out to Waterford last weekend in the National Hurling League. This now ends the league campaign and they will be out in action again in the championship on July 4th.

Kiladangan GAA Scrap Metal Collection

Last Saturday saw a great start to our scrap metal collection with lots of items donated and collected by club volunteers. We will be in Ballycommon on Saturday 19th from 9 am onwards to accept donations and can facilitate collection of large items. Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 7th June. There was no winner of the €15,700 jackpot (2,5,13,33) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (1,4,14,17). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows:

Club Lotto Lucky Dip

We are delighted to partner with some of the local businesses - Tony’s Tipp Top Shop & The Thatched Cottage Ballycommon, The Whiskey Still and The Lake Cafe Dromineer and Kennedy’s Shop Puckane. To promote shop local, we will give €25 vouchers for local businesses as part of the lucky dip on the lotto draw. An option of €25 cheque will also be available to anyone who wishes to take that option.

Kiladangan GAA Golf Classic

Kildangan GAA will hold their golf classic on Friday 30th July at Nenagh Golf Club, it is a 3 ball champagne scramble event and we have some fantastic prizes on offer. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
