Senior

Well done to the senior hurlers who had a 2-18 to 1-17 win over Toomevara in the first round of the North Championship last Sunday afternoon with the Kiladangan goals coming through Tadhg Gallagher and Darragh Egan. Match report is available on the club website. The draw for the North Quarter finals will take place this coming Sunday night.

Junior ‘A’ League

Best of luck to the Junior ‘A’ hurlers who will take on Burgess this Saturday evening at 7.15 pm in Toomevara in the North Junior ‘A’ hurling league final.

Junior ‘B’ League

The Junior ‘B’ hurlers will be involved in a 3 way play off with Lorrha and Ballina to determine who will qualify for the semi final stages of the league after all 3 teams level on points after the group stages.

Membership

Membership is now being taken for the senior club with the rate of €50 for adult players and €30 for students and non-playing members. Membership money can be given to any club officer.

School Action

Hard luck to Carrig National School who lost out to Gaelscoil Durlas last week on a 1-3 to 1-5 scoreline in the County ‘B’ schools hurling final.

Stars in their Eyes

The club will host a ‘Stars in their Eyes’ fundraiser this Sunday June 6th at 8.00 pm in the Hurling field in Puckane where many locals will take to the stages singing. This event will act as a joint fundraiser for the development of the facilities in the GAA club in Puckane as well for the North Tipp Hospice. Tickets for the event are priced at €20 and are available to purchase in McGraths Bar in Puckane.
