Junior ‘A’ Championship
The Junior hurlers will take on Toomevara in their last game of the group stages this coming Friday at 7.00 pm in Nenagh.
Minor Championship
The minor hurlers will take on Moneygall/Clonakenny in the final round of the group stage this Wednesday August 17th in Nenagh at 7.00 pm. This is a very important game for the lads as a win is needed to guarantee a place in the knock out stages.
Under 16
The under 16 hurlers lost out to Toomevara Monday week ago in Puckane. They took on Kilruane last Monday with no result at time of going to press. They will take on Silvermines in their last game of the group stages on Monday August 22nd in Puckane at 6.30 pm.
Under 14
Hard luck to the Under 14 hurlers who lost out to Kilruane MacDonaghs in the North ‘A’ Quarter Final on a 5-9 to 7-7 scoreline. Well done to the lads on their efforts throughout the year and thanks to the management team of Sean O’Meara, Eanna Gleeson and Darren Moran.
Dick Mulcahy Memorial Tournament
The inaugural Dick Mulcahy memorial Under 11 Hurling tournament will take place this coming Saturday 20th August in the hurling field in Puckane. The club would like to thank Margaret Mulcahy and family who presented the trophy to the Kiladangan juvenile club last week.
Under 10’s/12’s
The clubs Under 10 and 12 teams had a very enjoyable day last Sunday supporting the Tipperary Minor and Senior hurlers in the All Ireland Semi Finals in Croke Park.
Golf Classic
Thanks to all who took part in a very successful Kiladangan Golf Classic last Saturday in Nenagh Golf Club. A big thanks to both Eamonn Kelly and Seamus Hogan for their hard work in organising the event. Thanks to all those who sponsored the event and to Slattery’s Garage Puckane who sponsored the ‘Hole In One’ Car. The following are the winners on the day. Well done to all. 1st- Eoin Butler, Ronan Ducie, Dermot Hogan and Conor O’Meara. 2nd – Conor Gleesons team. 3rd – Una Powells Pub team. 4th – John Seymours team. Brian Lawlor had the longest drive whilst Rodger Coffey was nearest the pin. The presentation night will take place this coming Friday at 9pm in McGraths Bar in Puckane.
Club Lotto
Numbers drawn were 8, 13, 20, 26 with no winner. Next weeks jackpot stands at €9,300. Thanks to all for your continued support.
