The senior hurlers had an 0-18 to 0-18 draw with Loughmore Castleiney last in Semple Stadium in the first round of the County Senior Hurling Championship. A late Conor Byrne point drew the game for Kiladangan. It was also great to see Willie Connors make his return from injury – scoring two points after making an appearance off the bench. The lads will take on Eire Og Annacarty Donohill in the second round on Saturday 6th August at 7pm in Dolla.
Premier Intermediate Hurling
Hard luck to the Premier Intermediate hurlers who lost out to Roscrea on a 4-12 to 1-33 scoreline last Sunday in Cloughjordan in the first round of the County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship. Shane Gleeson scored a hat trick of goals for Kiladangan with Eoin Meagher also finding the back of the net. Full teams, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com.
The lads will take on Moyne Templetouhy in the second round on Friday 5th August at 7pm in Roscrea.
Junior ‘B’ Hurling
The Junior ‘B’ hurlers will take on Ballina this coming Sunday 31st July at 11 am in Ballina in the final game of the group stages. A win is required to book a spot in the knock out stages.
Kiladangan conceded the North Under 19 'A' game to Roscrea. Their next game will be in the North Quarter Final on Wednesday 10th August.
Hard luck to the Under 17’s who lost out to Moneygall on Monday 18th July in Puckane on a 3-11 to 3-13 scoreline. They took on Shannon Rovers Gaels on Monday 25th July and won on a 2-11 to 1-12 scoreline.
The Under 13 ‘B’ side had a great win over Moneygall on Monday 18th July. Their next game is on Tuesday 9th August at home to Borrisokane. Also on Tuesday 9th, the ‘D’ side take on Newport in Puckane.
Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 18th July. There was no winner of the €21,500 jackpot (3,22,27,35) or the Second Chance €500 draw (13,19,30,31).
