The Junior ‘C’s game against Kilruane MacDonaghs which was due to take place last Sunday evening did not ago ahead as Kilruane conceded the game. Thanks to the players for their efforts and to the management team of Eoin Butler, Donnacha Hassey, Frank Flannery and Fergal Hayes.

Kiladangan led 0-7 to 1-3 at half time but Clerhans second half goal put them on top and they came away with the six point victory. The Kiladangan team and scorers was as follows: Tommy Connors, Paddy Gallagher, Daragh Butler, Eanna Gleeson, Conor Culhane, Hughie Flannery, Darragh Ryan, Conor Byrne, Matthew Cleary, Neil Cahalan (0-1), Eoin Kelly (0-1), Shane Gleeson (0-1), Eoin Meagher, Liam Hayes and Stephen Mulvihill (0-6). Under 15
The Under 15 hurlers took on Ballinahinch Templederry last Monday 3rd October in the Semi Final of the North ‘B’ Plate Competition and won out on a 3-12 to 4-8 scoreline. Well done lads. They will now take on Borrisokane in the final.
Under 13
Hard luck to the Kiladangan Under 13 hurlers who lost out to an excellent Mullinahone side last Sunday afternoon in the County ‘B’ Final in Clonoulty – Final Score: Kiladangan 2-6 Mullinahone 2-9. Kiladangan had a great start and were ahead 1-2 to 0-0 after just three minutes. However, Mullinahone responded well with 1-2 in reply to level the sides after six minutes. The remainder of the half was tit for tat with Mullinahone enjoying a 1-7 to 1-5 half time lead. In a low scoring second half, Mullinahone were clinical in front of goal with 1-2 to no reply which gave them a 2-9 to 1-5 lead on the 39th minute mark. However, Kialdangan rallied with a pointed Donagh Carmody free and a late Ruairi Hackett goal giving our boys hope. However, they were unable to muster the equalising goal with Mullinahone gaining victory by three points.
The boys hurled brilliantly throughout the year and it was a brilliant achievement to make it to a county final – they can hold their heads high after a magnificent year of hurling. Many thanks to the management team of Ruairi Boland, Mike Carmody, Kevin Connolly, Dan Hackett, Barry Ryan and Darren McGrath for their work coaching the lads through the year.
