Senior
The senior hurlers booked a place in the County Final with a 2-16 to 0-13 victory over Killenaule last Sunday in Semple Stadium in the county semi final stages. An early Joe Gallagher goal settled Kiladangan into the game and went into the half time break with a 1-9 to 0-8 lead. A second Joe Gallagher goal with 10 minutes remaining sealed the victory for Kiladangan.
Focus now turns to the County final where they will take on Thurles Sarsfields this coming Sunday (16th) at 3.30 pm in Semple Stadium. This will be the clubs first final appearance since 1938 when, coincidentally, they also took on Thurles Sarsfields but suffered a 2-2 to 7-7 defeat.
Best of luck to the panel and management team of Dan Hackett, Martin McLoughney and Sean Treacy as they bid to bring the Dan Breen Cup back to the parish for the first time in the clubs history. The club urges for all supporters, both near and far, to come out and cheer on the lads on the day,

Junior ‘A’
The Junior ‘A’ hurlers had an impressive 2-20 to 2-14 win over St Patricks Drangan in Templemore last Saturday afternoon in the county quarter final. Andy Loughnane and Ciaran Kelly were the Kiladangan goal scorers. The lads have been drawn to play Holycross Ballycahill in the Semi Final which will take place on the weekend of the 23rd of October whilst Ballybacon Grange will take on Loughmore Castleiney in the other semi final.

Timber Auction
The annual Kiladangan GAA Timber Auction is due to take place within the coming weeks. If anyone has any tree’s that they are willing to donate to the club then please contact Michael Quigley on 0879332925.

Club Gear
With the county senior final on this coming Sunday, many people may be looking to stock up on club gear. A number of Adidas polo tops, t shirts, hoodies and training tops are available for purchase.

Club Website
The club are currently in the process of setting up a new club website which will be launched in the coming weeks.

Sympathy
The club wishes to extend their sympathy to both the Quinn and Hanrahan families on the death of Josephine Hanrahan (nee Quinn) who passed away recently. May she rest in peace.
