Kiladangan Community Race Day

Keep Sunday 12th March free in your diary as Kiladangan GAA club will be running a community race day in Limerick racecourse. Buffet dinner included in the ticket aswell as a private suite and best dress competition. It promises to be a great day with support to Embrace Farm Charity. Single ticket costs €55 whilst there is an offer of two tickets for €100. Tickets available to purchase at https://kiladangangaa.com/products.

County Hurling League

The County Hurling League will commence on the weekend of Sunday March 17th. The Senior hurlers are away in the first round against Upperchurch Drombane whilst the Intermediates are also away to Ballinahinch.

The Seniors will also face Borris Ileigh, Clonoulty Rossmore, Mullinahone and Moycarkey Borris in their group whilst the Intermediates will also face Cappawhite, Boherlahan Dualla, Carrick Davins and Moyle Rovers.

Junior 'A' Football

Six teams will compete in this years North Junior 'A' Football Championship with two groups of three teams with the top two teams in each group progressing to the North Semi Finals. Kiladangan will compete in Group 2 with Portroe and Newport whilst Nenagh Eire Og, Roscrea and Kilruane MacDonaghs make up Group 1. Kiladangan have a bye in Round 1 (weekend 12th March). They will be away to Newport in Round 2 on March 26th whilst Puckane will be the venue for the Round 3 clash against Portroe on April 9th.

Lotto

There was no winner of Monday 20th February lotto jackpot of €7,500. Jackpot numbers were 15,16,30,33. No winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the number 4,8,23,26.

The Kiladangan GAA Jackpot will be now increasing by €250 per week so next weeks jackpot now stands at €7,750.

Divisional Football

Well done to the North Tipperary U15 Football panel and management who won the U15 Interdivisional Shield last Saturday in Dr Morris Park beating Mid Tipp in the final.

Kiladangan had 5 players on the panel - Eoin Kelly, Rory Gavin, Cullum Ryan, Tom McGrath and Tom Boland. Well done lads!

Under 17 Football

The Kiladangan U17 Footballers will compete in the North/Mid U17 'B' Football league. This will commence on Sunday 5th March at 12 noon when the lads will take on Gortnahoe Glengoole in Puckane. Round 2 will take place on Sunday 12th March at 12 noon in Littleton against Moycarkey whilst Round 3 will take place in Puckane against Toomevara on Sunday 27th March at 12 noon.

Scór na bPáistí

The North Scór na bPáistí finals took place last Friday in Portroe. All the Kiladangan entries performed really well and the ballad won out on the night. Best of luck to Leah Carey, Chloe Kingston, Lily Chadwick, Ava Fitzgerald & Sophie Garland who will represent the North Division in the County Scór na bPáisti Final in Cashel on Sunday the 12th of March. Well done girls on a super performance.

Sympathy

Kiladangan GAA club wish to express sympathy to the friends and family of Brendan Kelly (Garraunfada, Dromineer) who sadly passed away last week. A tenacious and skilful hurler, Brendan was a member of the Kiladangan Junior hurling team for a number of years. He will missed by his former teammates and club colleagues and by all those within the community. May he rest in peace.

The club also wish to express sympathy to the Nenagh Eire Og club and the friends and family of Mick Burns who passed away recently. May he rest in peace.
