Well done to the Senior hurlers who had an impressive 5-25 to 1-23 win over Clonoulty Rossmore in Clonoulty last Sunday the fourth round of the County Hurling League.

In what was a high scoring free flowing game, Kiladangan gained an early upper hand on with three goals between the sixth and eight minute from Sean Hayes, Bryan McLoughney and Willie Connors. Willie Connors scored his second goal with a great finish on the seventeenth minute after great work from Eoghan Sharkey. Sean Ryan found the back of the Kiladangan net for Clonoulty with five minutes left in the half. Kiladangan enjoyed a 4-10 to 1-14 half time lead. Goals were harder to come by in the second half with Bryan McLoughney scoring the half's only goal on the forty sixth minute. The sides traded points throughout the rest of the half with Kiladangan securing victory.

Paul Flynn finished with eight points for the victors with Tadhg Gallagher (0-5) and Bryan McLoughney (2-5 (5f) also prominent. Cathal Bourke finished with 0-15 (13f) for Clonoulty with Sean Ryan shooting 1-2 for his side.

Hard luck to the Intermediate hurlers who lost out, 0-17 to 1-20, to an impressive Boherlahan Dualla in Puckane last Saturday evening in the fourth round of the County Hurling League. The sides were even in the first half, trading points throughout but a well taken Seamus Leahy goal was the difference between the sides with Boherlahan leading 1-9 to 0-10 at half time. The third quarter proved to be the winning of the game for Boherlahan where they outscored the home side by 0-6 to 0-3. Kiladangan were unable to claw back the Boherlahan lead in the last quarter with the mid men securing a deserved victory. Seamus Leahy impressed for the victors with 1-5 from corner forward whilst Tomas Ryan and Dylan Fogarty were also prominent. Ruairi Gleeson finished with 0-9 (7 from placed balls) whilst Aidan Ryan contributed three points to the Kiladangan cause.
