Junior 'B' Hurling

Well done to the Junior 'B' Hurlers who enjoyed a 2-20 to 1-11 win over Nenagh Eire Og last Saturday evening in Puckane. Kiladangan enjoyed a 0-15 to 0-5 half time lead with Eoin Meagher and Ciaran Taplin scoring the second half goals for Kiladangan. Full team, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com.

This win now ensures a spot in the knock out stages for the lads. They will take on Knockshegowna this coming Saturday evening at 7.00 pm in Puckane in the North Quarter Final.

Junior 'A' Football

Congratulations to the Junior 'A' Footballers who retained the North Junior 'A' Football title after a 1-8 to 0-10 final win over Roscrea last Wednesday in Borrisoleigh. Roscrea were the dominant team in the first half where they enjoyed a 0-9 to 1-2 half time lead. Roscrea started the half brightly - scoring the first five points of the game. Kiladangan responded well scoring 1-2 to bring the sides level after the first quarter. The Kiladangan goal came from the penalty spot through Darren Moran (it was Darren's third goal from the penalty spot in the North campaign). Roscrea resumed control for the remainder of the half - shooting four consecutive points without reply. The second half was a different story however with Kiladangan's performance improving greatly. They restricted Roscrea to just one point in the second half with Kiladangan scoring six with Stephen Mulvihill prominent in the scoring charts for Kiladangan.
