Senior Hurling

Hard luck to our senior hurlers who lost to Cashel King Cormacs by a single point in Round 2 of the County Championship in Templemore on Saturday. Kildangan led by four points at half-time and remained in control of the game for much of the second half. Unfortunately, a late Cashel goal snatched victory by the narrowest of margins with the final score 3-23 to 3-22. Attention now turns to the final group game against Drom & Inch. Best of luck to the players and management in their preparations. 

Junior B Hurling

Hard luck to our Junior B hurlers who lost out to Borrisokane in their final game of the season last Friday evening on a scoreline of 2-21 to 1-9. Thanks to all involved in their campaign this year.

Minor Hurling

Well done to our Minor A hurlers, who finished their campaign with an impressive 3-19 to 1-15 victory over Nenagh Éire Óg last Wednesday evening. Unfortunately, results elsewhere meant we won’t progress further in the competition. The lads played some fantastic hurling throughout the campaign and showed great potential for the future. A big thank you to all the players and management for their commitment and hard work throughout the year.

Camogie

A huge congratulations to our minor camogie team who came out victorious on Monday evening in the Minor C 13-a-side Final, defeating Mullinahone on a scoreline of 2-09 to 0-07. A massive well done to all the players and management on a fantastic achievement and a very well-deserved title.

Best of luck to our U13 camogie team who play Cahir on Wednesday evening in Puckane at 8pm in the quarter final.

Our junior camogie championship begins this weekend. First up, the Junior A team play Lorrha on Saturday 15th August in Lorrha, while the Junior C team face Borrisoleigh on Sunday 16th August in Borrisoleigh. Please see social media for confirmed times for both games. Best of luck to both panels and management teams for the season ahead.

Well done to Ava Fitzgerald, Chloe Kingston and Leah Carey who took part in an U14 All-Ireland Camogie Blitz in Dublin at the weekend representing Tipperary.

Juvenile

Hard luck to our U14 B hurlers who lost out to Ballina last Thursday evening in round 4 of the North Championship. 
Well done to our U16 B hurlers who were victorious over Naomh Eoin in the North U16 B Quarter-Final on Monday evening in Portroe on a scoreline of 2-21 to 3-13. They will now face Borris-Ileigh in the semi-final which will take place the week after next. 
Well done to our U12 A team who beat Kilruane MacDonaghs in the playoff on Tuesday evening.   
Hard luck to our U12 C team who were narrowly beaten by Silvermines in their playoff on Wednesday evening.

Family Fun Day

Kiladangan GAA and Camogie Club are delighted to invite you to our Family Fun Day on Sunday 30th August from 1pm to 3pm at the Kiladangan GAA Grounds. There will be a BBQ, hang tough competition, face painting and lots of games and activities for all the family! Come along for an afternoon of fun, laughter and community spirit.
