Dinner Dance
Thanks to all those that attended the clubs Dinner Dance in the GAA complex in Puckane last Saturday – over 260 medals handed out to 95 players so it was a busy night! It was a great night had by all with Darren Frehill acting as an excellent MC. Many thanks to Andy’s Nenagh who did the catering, thanks to Stephanie Browne and her dancers who opened up the night with a great performance. Kudos must go to Niall McGrath who did trojan work the last number of weeks getting the hall set up. Thanks to Bridget Delaney who was kept busy taking photo’s throughout whilst Sean Slattery and The Connections put in a great performance playing music late into the night.
North Junior Hurling League’s
In this year’s North Junior Hurling Leagues, our Junior ‘B’ hurlers (third team) will compete in the North Junior ‘A’ League whilst the Junior ‘C’ hurlers (fourth team) will compete in the North Junior ‘B’ League.
The Junior ‘A’ League will consist of a single group of six teams – Kiladangan, Kilruane, Nenagh Eire Og, Roscrea, Toomevara and Borris Ileigh. The top four team’s will progress to the Semi Finals. Kiladangan will take on Toomevara in the first round on Saturday 26th March at 4.30 pm in Puckane. In the North Junior ‘B’ League, Kiladangan have been grouped with Templederry Kenyons, Nenagh Eire Og, Portroe and Silvermines. They will take on Portroe in the first round on Saturday 9th April at 4.30 pm in Portroe.
County Hurling League
Kiladangan will take on Drom Inch on Thursday 24th March at 7.45 pm in Puckane in the first round of the County League.
Under 13
Well done to the Under 13 footballers who commenced their North ‘B’ campaign last Saturday with a 4-3 to 2-5 win over Borrisokane. They take on Silvermines in the second round this coming Saturday at 2pm in Puckane.
Intercounty Hurling
Best of luck to the Kiladangan contingent part of the Tipperary senior hurling panel that take on Antrim this coming Sunday at 1.45 pm in Semple Stadium in the final group game of the National Hurling League.
Lotto
Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 7th March. There was no winner of the €19,600 jackpot (10,11,15,29) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (7,8,9,31). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows: Sinead Fahey (online), Olivia Hackett (online), Paddy & Marie Coen (Johnstown), Tom Healy (Nenagh). Many thanks to everyone for supporting the lotto. We would urge people to sign up for the lotto online at kiladangangaa,com/products. There are currently a number of options available online on how long you can sign up for whilst tickets are also available in the shops and restaurants in the parish.
Kiladangan GAA Nursey
Kiladangan GAA will be running a Nursery beginning in April for boys between the ages of 4 to 6. If parents wish for their kids to participate then please contact Oisin Ryan on 086 275 2117
