County Hurling League

The senior hurlers lost out to Drom Inch last Thursday 24th March on a 0-14 to 1-12 scoreline in the first round of the County League. Full teams, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com. They will face Loughmore Castleiney in the second round this coming Sunday 3rd April at 12 noon in Puckane.

North Junior ‘A’ Hurling League

Kiladangan were defeated by Toomevara on a 2-10 to 0-18 scoreline last Saturday afternoon in Puckane in the first round of the North Junior ‘A’ Hurling League. Ciaran Kelly and Paul Seymour were the Kiladangan goal scorers with full teams, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com.

The second round of games will take place on Friday 8th April where the lads will take on Nenagh Eire Og in Nenagh at 6.45 pm.

North Junior ‘B’ Hurling League

The first round of the North Junior ‘B’ Hurling League will take place on Saturday 9th April where Kiladangan will travel to take on Portroe at 4.30 pm in Portroe.

North Championship Draws

The draws for the North Hurling Championships took place last week. In the Senior Hurling Quarter Finals, Kiladangan will take on neighbours Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst in the Premier Intermediate Quarter Finals, Kiladangan will face Silvermines.

Under 13

Well done to the Under 13 footballers who had two great wins last week. On Tuesday 22nd, they defeated Silvermines in Puckane whilst on Saturday 26th, they defeated Burgess in Kilcolman. Photo’s of the Burgess game are available on the Kiladangan GAA Facebook page – thanks to Trish O’Shea.

Their fourth game will take place on Tuesday 5th April at 6.30 pm away to Newport.

Under 15

The Under 15 footballers will commence their football campaign this coming Thursday at home to Lorrha Rovers at 6.30 pm in the North ‘B’ Championship.

Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 21st March. There was no winner of the €19,800 jackpot (13,21, 30, 31) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (14,15,20,27). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows: Mary Slattery (online), Deirdre Hyland (online), Henry Hehir (Sixmilebridge), Johanna Kennedy (Ardcroney).

There are currently a number of options available online on how long you can sign up for whilst tickets are also available in the shops and restaurants in the parish.

Kiladangan GAA Nursey

Kiladangan GAA will be running a Nursery beginning in April for boys between the ages of 4 to 6. If parents wish for their kids to participate then please contact Oisin Ryan on 086 275 2117

Sympathy

The club wish to express sympathy to the Horan family (Puckane) on the sad passing of Adeline Horan (nee Kinehan). May she rest in peace.
