County Hurling League

The third round of the County Hurling League took place last Friday evening where the lads lost out to Toomevara on a 0-17 to 2-13 scoreline. Full team, scorers and score tracker available on KiladanganGAA.com. Round 4 of the league will take place on the weekend of Sunday 1st May in Puckane against Mullinahone.

North Junior ‘A’ Hurling League

Round 3 of the North Junior ‘A’ Hurling League will take place this coming Friday 22nd April against Roscrea in Puckane at 7pm.

North Junior ‘B’ Hurling League

Round 2 of the North Junior ‘B’ Hurling League will take place this coming Saturday 23rd April at 5pm in Puckane against Silvermines.

Under 19

Hard luck to the Under 19 footballers who were comprehensively beaten by a strong Ballina side last Wednesday 13th in the North ‘A’ Football Final. Best of luck to Ballina in the county semi final.

Attention now turns to the hurling where the lads will compete in a non competitive games over the next few weeks leading up to the Leaving Cert. They will take on Silvermines this coming Wednesday 20th April at 7pm in Dolla. The competitive action will start post Leaving Cert in July.

Under 13

The Under 13 footballers have progressed to the North ‘B’ Semi Final and are awaiting the winners of the Quarter Finals.

Under 15

The Under 15 footballers will take on Roscrea this coming Thursday 21st April at 6.30 pm in Roscrea in their third game of the North ‘B’ Football Championship.

The Under 15s travelled to Killenaule last Saturday 16th April to take part in Division 4 of the Feile na Gael Hurling Championship. They lost out to a strong Killenaule side on a 0-1 to 2-9 scoreline in their first group game. They then drew with Golden Kilfeacle 1-5 to 2-2 in the second round. They then took on Upperchurch Drombane in the final group game and were unlucky to lose out by a single point – 1-4 to 1-5. This result ended the lads progress in the competition. Well done to all who had a great mornings hurling and thanks to Killenaule for hosting.

Intercounty Senior Hurling

Hard luck to James Quigley (full back), Alan Flynn (midfield), Barry Hogan and Paul Flynn who were part of the Tipperary Senior Hurling panel that were defeated by Waterford last Sunday April 17th in the first round of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship. They will take on Clare this coming Sunday 24th April at 2pm in FBD Semple Stadium in the second round.

Darragh Egan managed the Wexford hurlers to a first round draw with Galway in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship. They will take on Dublin this coming Saturday 23rd April at 5pm in Wexford Park.

Tipperary Under 20 Hurling

Well done to Shane Gleeson who was part of the Tipperary Under 20 Hurling panel that defeated Waterford last Wednesday 13t April in the second round of the Munster Championship. Their next game will be the Munster Semi Final on Wednesday 27th April.

Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 11th April. There was no winner of the €20,100 jackpot (1,3,20,28) or the Second Chance €500 Draw (1,3,20,28). The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows: Brian McLoughlin (Ballycommon), Emma Sheridan (Carney), Deirdre Collison (online), Liam Karl Flannery (Monsea)

Kiladangan GAA Nursery
