Junior ‘C’
Puckane hosted an exciting County Junior ‘C’ Charity game last Friday 3rd December where extra time couldn’t separate Kiladangan against Mid Champions Loughmore Castleiney with the final score – Kiladangan 0-13 Loughmore Castleiney 2-7. In what was a tit for tat affair throughout, the sides were level at the half time break in normal time – 0-6 to 1-3. Kiladangan had the upper hand of the early stages of the second half and stretched to a three point lead going into the last ten minutes of the game but Loughmore clawed their way back with a pointed free late on bringing the game to extra time. A Loughmore goal early in extra time looked to be the winning of the game but Kiladangan didn’t wilt with a Cathal Hanrahan free with the last puck of the game levelling the sides. Many thanks to Loughmore Castleiney for travelling up to Puckane. A total of €2,597 was raised on the night for North Tipperary Hospice – many thanks to all those that donated to a great cause.
