Valentine’s Lotto Draw Giveaway

With the club jackpot at an all time high , we have decided to give away €1,000 to one lucky entrant of the Valentines Lotto Draw which will take place on February 14th. To be in with a chance of winning the €1,000 (plus the normal jackpot draw), enter the lotto online at kiladangangaa/products

Golden Ticket Fundraiser

The Kelly family are running a fundraiser in memory of Paddy Kelly, with the proceeds being split 50/50 between Kiladangan GAA and North Tipp Hospice. There will be 950 big bars of chocolate for sale at €10 each and are available from local shops and bars within the parish or by contacting Eamonn Kelly on 086 252 4819. There will be 10 “golden tickets” to be found with €1,000 prizing money with one lucky winner getting €500. Well done to Aine Slattery (Coolbawn) and Niamh Hackett (Urra) who found two of the golden tickets so far. They now go into the draw for the €500 jackpot which will take place on Friday 4th March.

College’s Hurling

The group stages of the Fitzgibbon Cup concluded last week with the Quarter Final’s taking place this week.

On Tuesday 8th, Fergal Hayes Carlow IT side take on UCC at 7pm in Carlow. Darragh Flannery’s NUIG face WIT on Wednesday 9th at 7pm in Dangan Galway, whilst on the same day, Bill Seymour and Ronan Ducie line out for TUS Midwest (formerly LIT) as they take on GMIT in Carnmore Galway at 2pm.

Conor Byrne is a member of the MIC Thurles team that take on Queens University this Wednesday 9th February at 7pm in Whitehall Dublin in the group stages of the Ryan Cup.

Handball

Well done to Ryan Gillick (representing Lahorna Handball Club) who claimed the Tipperary 40 by 20 Handball title last week in Carrick on Suir. He is pictured here with his handball coach Rory Grace. Well done Ryan on a fantastic win!

Adjourned AGM

The Adjourned AGM will take place on Friday 18th February at 8pm in the GAA complex in Puckane.

Dinner Dance

The club will host a dinner dance on Saturday 12th March where medals will be presented to the victorious teams from 2021 along with the 2020 County Senior Hurling winning panel. More details will be announced within the coming weeks.

Intercounty Hurling

Well done to James Quigley (full back), Alan Flynn (midfield), Barry Hogan and Paul Flynn who were part of the Tipperary Senior Hurling panel who commenced their Allianz Hurling League campaign last Saturday in Portlaoise with a 0-21 to 1-14 win over Laois. They will take on Kilkenny in the second round of the league this coming Sunday 13th at 3.45 pm in FBD Semple Stadium.

Lotto

Kiladangan Lotto draw took place last Monday 31st January with Bobby O’Connor (Limerick) winning the €500 in the Second Chance Draw with the winning numbers of 1,13,18,29. Congrats to Bobby on his win.

There was no winner of the €19,100 jackpot (3,10,11,27).

The €25 lucky dip winners were as follows:

There are currently a number of options available online on how long you can sign up for whilst tickets are also available in the shops and restaurants in the parish.

Every Step Counts Challenge

The “Every Step Counts” challenge is back where clubs walk/run a collective 4,000km (that's roughly the distance around Ireland!) between January 19th to February 23rd. Clubs that reach this target will be entered into a prize draw in each province there are 3x O'Neills vouchers up for grabs - €2,500, €1,500 & €1,000. There has been a great uptake in the parish with a large number competing. Anyone can register for this so appreciate if you can support and forward the link below to anyone you think may be interested in taking part.
